Spray ready-to-use Tree Guard on your trees and shrubs once or twice a year to deter animal browsing (more often to fast-growing poplars). Tree Guard does not impair the growth of trees to which it has been applied and is safe for children, pets and the environment. Formula is weather-resistant. This is the product that we have personally used when establishing a windbreak and a field of white pine. Our only regret is that we didn’t use it the first year that the trees were planted!

Tree Guard deer repellent’s ready-to-use formulation sprays on milky and dries to a clear, attractive coating. Non-toxic to plants, use it to protect all trees, shrubs and flowering ornamentals-but do not use it on anything grown for human consumption.

A unique latex polymer carries the active ingredient, Bitrex, and holds it to the surface of the plant, resisting rain, and wash-off for up to 100 days.

A detection agent is also incorporated, permitting deer to identify which plants have been treated, eliminating the need for deer to taste your plants to detect the Tree Guard.

One gallon protects 1,000 square feet of plant material. Note that two light coats provide better protective results than a single heavy application.
