HYBRID POPLAR STICKS
These are 10” long unrooted cuttings of the clone NM-6 (Populus nigra x maximowiczii). They require full sunlight, well-drained soils, warm soil for planting (at least 50 degrees F.) and good weed control for 3-4 years. They can’t be planted and forgotten! Plant with bud pointing up. They can be planted flush with the ground or have up to one inch above ground. Under optimal conditions these trees can grow several feet/year.These are available May-June only.
